• Provided work direction while communicating and reinforcing company and venue specific performance expectations as an SAE during the 2024 Halloween Horror Nights Season
• Performed administrative responsibilities such as preparing weekly schedules, daily reports with overtime justification, documenting team member performance and recognition.

Marquee Events Costume Issue Lead (Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando)

• Performed administrative responsibilities during the 2023 HHN Season such as keeping a daily log, detailed repair notes that would need to be completed, any changes, missing/returned costume pieces, and general information that was received during the course of the shift.
• Communicated to management detailed repair notes on various costume pieces, staffing issues, operational concerns with partnering departments, and missing costume pieces and/or needed supplies
• Performed closing duties that included the intake of costume pieces, detail repair notes on Seamstress/Tech/Biohazard sheets, dry cleaning sheets 
• Observed and monitored sets to ensure costumes for The Darkest Deal and Oddfellow’s houses were show ready in addition to the performers wearing the pieces properly; addressed any concerns to the necessary departments and the manager on duty in order to find a resolution.
• Utilized quick thinking and problem solving skills in order to repair performer’s costume pieces in addition to making such repairs either by hand or a domestic sewing machine; found garments that would fit the spare performers from either the extras rack or though partnering with other zones for basic items which were approved by both the MOD and Show Direction.

Kira Rhian Cosplay

• Construct costumes, including wigs and makeup, to closely match the existing character design and developed original designs when necessary
• Maintain current knowledge of costume history, textile fabrication, millinery, and foamsmithing, as well as developing new and current costume techniques and practices
• Manage all costumes, ensuring those require for a particular day or event are present, and ready
• Launder costumes when necessary in addition to performing on the spot repairs
• Ensure costumes fit correctly and look appropriate when worn
• Maintain records of costume design spending, producing all appropriate costumes without going over budget
• Create inventory sheets, in progress construction documentation, and order materials when necessary
• Organized and presented panels at various conventions that covered the topics of cosplay, textile fabrication, makeup, and introduction to sewing

Universal Orlando Resort Wardrobe Fabrication Specialist

• Perform alterations (i.e., replace zippers, make costumes smaller or larger to accommodate performer size, measure and sew hems)
• Maintain an organized and neat workspace and accurate work tracking
• Accurate completion of daily paperwork, including hours documentation(DSR), seamstress and tech repairs.
• Communicate in a friendly, respectful and understandable manner while politely giving consistent, timely and accurate information to Team Members. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Monitor dry cleaning and repair orders to include: checking orders in upon return from vendor and notifying management of discrepancies.
• Abide by all company policies and procedures; proactively work with management to continually understand and embrace our operational foundation
